We’ve seen summer, we’ve seen winter, we’ve seen thunder and lightning and record breaking heat all in one week. Yep, it’s July and apparently the most unpredictable month of the year.
Heres what I did in July, would love to hear about anything you read/wrote/did this month in the comments!
What I Read
🎶 The Handmaid’s Tale – I got a chilling audiobook from Penguin
♥️ Heartless – this novel was just amazing. I’m so excited to share with you all what I thought
👑 Red Queen – honestly, I wasn’t a fan. I hated it’s portrayal of women
❄️ The Way Past Winter – I read this little MG for the Reading Rush, all in one day!
What I Wrote
✨ 10 Authors you Should All Try – I listed my ten favourite authors, who you’re probably fed up of me banging on about
✨ Uprooted – I finally posted my review for this very pretty yet slightly strange novel.
✨ 10 Childhood Reads we Were All Obsessed With – A list of my ten favourite reads from when I was younger.
✨ Totally Didn’t Book Tag – The sassiest book tag ever. Oooh this was fun.
What I Read Online
📖 Why Harry Potter Is So Big – A big question that required a big and well written blog post.
📖 Am I a Seasonal Reader? – Another big question! That is answered here with pretty graphs and stats. My favourite type post- including books and maths.
📖 Should Stats Dictate Posts – There’s definitely a theme of big questions going on here… Do you let stats dictate your posts? Discussed over here.
📖 Book Blogging Hop – I love the idea of this blogging hop and was very grateful my blog was visited! I have hopped a few time and think it’s a great meme.
What I Did
📚 YALC – The best event of the year, I enjoyed a weekend of books, fun and lots of sugar with my pals, all detailed in my wrap up post.
📚 Camping – My friends and I pitched a tent in the new forest and enjoyed long walks and BBQ’d food for a whole weekend
📚 Rowing – My brother and I hired a boat and went for a little row for a day, which was both fun and tiring as we chased duck with out oars.
📚 Picnicking a Plenty! I went quite a few picnics with work friends, with food and rounders a plenty. Although I ended up eating far too much home made falafel
