Ok, literally where did April go? I’m fairly sure I only realised it was April in the middle of the month ๐ anyway, another month means another wrap up! Here are my four favourites in these categories this month!
Books I Read
๐ Circe – finished my first Audiobook and I would highly recommend! It was excellent
๐ Rose Under Fire – oh gosh. I had been warned it would be sad but still ๐ญ Review will be up soon!
๐ฌ Crown of Midnight – it has a different emoji because I sort of DNFd it. I just had so much reading time but felt really uninspired to read it…
Posts I Wrote
๐ Muse of Nightmares Review – I’m including this review because it’s the first Review I’ve ever written for a publisher! So yeah, pretty pleased with that!
๐ 10 Things All Books Need – surprisingly no, the list wasn’t just ‘dragons’ written out ten times…
๐ Giving up Plastic – my struggles of living without plastic for Lent!
๐ My Friday Ten Reviews – blast from the past, here are the first ten books I ever reviewed.
Posts I Read
๐ฉ Book Star Ratings – loved this post from Delly Bird all about star ratings, and why they’re inaccurate. We also had a great chat on Twitter about this topic which is always fun.
๐ฉ Reading your Country Tag Scotland – not only do I love the idea of this tag but it was great to chat about Scottish books with this blogger! Who actually inspired a book ๐๐ฎ
๐ฉ 5 Books to Read if You Like Witches – I chatted to this new blogger on Instagram a bit last month and think it’s really cool she’s started a blog! Also her photos are just ๐
๐ฉ You can Quote me on That – I read this ttt post because the title was hilarious, and it had some great quotes in there too!
Things I Did
๐ป Loved the Sunny Bank Holiday- I spent most of it outside, going for massive long walks with friends, picnics, and even visiting a castle ruin with my boyfriend. I feel made the most of my four warm days off, I even have the tan to prove it.
๐ป Ate Greek food with my pals- I haven’t had Greek food since I went island hopping (I know mad!). It wasn’t exactly authentic but I had a great day shopping for hours, slurping milkshakes and chatting books with my friends.
๐ป Had cocktails in a bookstore – I met up with my friends from uni after work and we all had cocktails surrounded by books. Honestly I was just so excited the book shop was open so late.
๐ป Attended a brass band concert – yep, it’s a yearly tradition that my new town all gather for this annual concert while dancing. It was hilarious seeing the mayoress leading a conga and I obviously knew all the words to “I can’t Take my Eyes off of you” thanks to 10 Things ๐
I love the way you’ve done your wrap up of april
